Leafs are not trading Knies.......He is untouchable in any trade as going to be a big time powerforward in the National Hockey League.

Too much for Chychrun. He would be a great addition but Knies isn't going anywhere.

I actually think Sandin has the potential to be equally as good as Chychrun.......so indifferent about this deal......Chychrun is just a bit older and farther down the development road.

Could always swap Knies with Niemela, it's a lot but you've gotta give up assets to get a good dman in his prime making under $5M for 3 seasons

I would be okay with giving up Topi to make the deal work..........Chychrun is a huge prize and gives the Leafs a dominating 1rst pairing defenceman for years to come and Chychrun wants out of Arizona.

Dubas is being very quiet right now..........and I think this trade you have proposed has a legitimate chance of happening.

Dylan Strome would be great addition by the Leafs and he needs to come home to Toronto to get his career back on track.

I can see Strome heading to Toronto but this isn't it. This may or may not cover Mrazek's cap dump alone.

I like a lot of this

Like strome on our 2nd line with Tavares
Like moving what it takes to get Chychurn…..sandin+knives+1st is fine but would switch abruzzese/ kerfoot…. I think Arizona would prefer
Like Mrazek to Chicago for Strome rights….. Mrazek+Holl+2nd pick
Like moving kerfoot but wrong team. Maybe Kerfoot to Seattle or Nashville for a 3rd

Would be more of a situation where CHI isn't going to qualify him so Leafs just get first crack like UFA rights. Also, if this is what was proposed, CHI would take it, no way this offer is on the table yet by the Leafs

It was reported that 4-5 teams are looking at Stromers rights if we look to move them, we aint going to take the package we could get without having to move him.

Toronto fans either buyout Mrazek or expect to pay, you cannot unload a goalie who was on waivers and anyone could had him for nothing or expect to pay. Trading him with a prospect and then expecting something in return is foolish. He has 2 years left at 3.8 million a year and he had horrible stats along with being waived. Why do you thi k he has value?

There is no chance San Jose does that deal. We have no need for Holl, we aren’t retaining on Hill, and we can get more for Bonino at the deadline.

What? It's a third and a prospect for a 1M buyout... "expect to pay" I am paying and Strome will either be moved for cheap or not even qualified so I'd barely consider him a return
