I feel like you could probably get Necas for less and just skip out on the late first all together. Miller probably nets you way more

29 yo on expiring deal for 23 yo with ton of potential still. Necas is already good and only gonna get better. In addition they get a 1st. They should take this

I think Necas would be a good add but isn't Carolina actively shopping him? If they can't afford him they have very little leverage. I just feel like his cost of acquisition is less than JT Miller but I'm also not very familiar with Necas' upside 😂

Based on Kevin Woodley's thoughts, Canucks fans feel quite meh about Curtis Sanford as a goalie development coach. We take a lot of value from Kevin's opinions because he bases a lot of his opinions on things he has learned from Ian Clark (who the entire league agrees is one of, if not, the best goalie coaches in the history of the NHL).

Carolina isn't actively shopping him, they're getting calls on him

According to lebrun Necas is available for a young defenseman
