What language do you speak ?
Because Letang is signing between 7-8M
Dubois wants to come to MTL in 2024 via Free Agency
CAR aren’t trading Necas and MTL aren’t trading Romanov
Jeff Petry isn’t worth that much

If the Pens aren't able to keep Letang, this is definitely something to consider.

If the Pens can't keep Letang, that trade is basically Petry for Poulin. The Pens keep a 1st round pick and just pick a few spots down. This is a very thin draft so pretty much anything after the third pick is a crap shoot.

EDIT: I don't think Petry is a legit #1 dman, but he's certainly a very good #2. That will net you a first, especially in this market. After Letang and Klingberg he's far and away the best dman that will be available.

I know Petry is very good, but Kent Hughes said he won’t give assets to trade Petry. But he will trade him if we get future. So when he said that, sounds like he has negative value or teams weren’t welling to trade assets for him. We’ll see

The market will certainly change in his favor. The Pens could never get a deal like this for him, but if they did, they should jump on it.... if they can't keep Letang of course.

There's no way Habs trade the #1 overall for Dubois.
