      trading UFA rights like they actually are worth something is something i am entertained by. clearly a toronto special the last few days.

      The media makes it a big deal. You do see one of those every couple of years. Honestly I think the only reason it's being discussed so much this year is the UFA period is later than usual, so the window is longer. I know the Leafs have "shopped" Mikheyev's rights, but I don't even know if that's worth a 5th round pick. It would have to be conditional...

      The picks and the prospect arent enough to offset Mrazek negative value.

      Campbell rights... I'm not sure why you are asking for Hischer

      I think for Campbells rights you have to give at least a first and top prospect. He’s an important man and doesn’t have time to speak to too many teams.

      No but really there’s no such thing as UFA rights, it’s meaningless. NJD is basically giving you free assets which doesn’t make any sense.
