Your close on Debrincat. Chicago reportedly declined a high first another first and a mid level prospect. You have the high first and another first and at least a mid prospect. Maybe add one more prospect to ouch Chicago over the edge. The Kane and grows one probably won’t happen though but it is there choice to stay or go

I'd do that if I were the Islanders. Maybe lottery protect the 23 1st rounder or make it this years.

If the hawks are trading Cat they need a 23 1st round pick almost any return without one would be a failure

If thats the package from PHI, my expectation would be that a 2nd rounder next year is conditional on performance to increase to a 1st if that other 1st is FLA and in 2024.

I would much prefer a Brink 5OA + PHI 23 1st or find other pieces to add value if they aren't prepared to meet that price.
