I mean the very overpaid Faksa is going the other way, I don’t think the sharks do it for that reason

If Buffalo wanted a LHD with a skill set better than Simek's they could sign Hagg for free.
I seriously doubt, considering his salary, you would get any NHL GM to offer anything of value for a 29 yo LHD who has played only 160 games signed for the next two years at $2,250,000 AVV.
