Canucks would probably accept that, but I think they would prefer subtracting Bean/Texier so they could get a RHD like Boqvist or the 6OA

I worry about them being weak down the middle, especially defensively, but with a Muzzin add the defense looks good, young guys like Johnson who have insane talent can play and play in the top6 (can even move down if need be), and maybe the division takes a step back next year. And they still have cap. I don't really know what the Miller ask is though. That seems so over the place.

Im on the fence with a Muzzin trade as it could go really good or bad for us

That said I understand the pros and cons to it and it seems the pros outweigh the cons rn

So if CBJ are willing to take him I would do it. Question is does Muzzin waive. Probably yes but idk

Don’t think Van would take that simply because nothing outside of the 1st really helps them. They don’t need lhd and texier doesn’t move the needle at all

You're not very aware of what Texier brings then. I'd agree that Bean probably doesn't have much value to Vancouver though.

I was kinda thinking The same Texier is pretty solid and hes cheap next year. I probably agree about Bean to.

I’m well aware that he doesn’t have a spot in vancouvers top 9 and we’re not trading miller for 4th line players.

I'd honestly rather have Texier at this point. And I'm kind of uncertain about the Muzzin trade. And I think we can do better for Nyquist, who (along with Voracek) is doing a great job of mentoring the youngsters.

Why would the Jackets take this much risk with Miller only having one more year of UFA left?
