Blackhawks pass. As you pointed out, Entwhistle is younger & cheaper. The hawks are in a rebuild and likely looking at this coming season as a lost season, so sending out a young player who's still developing for a player like McGinn doesn't make much sense. Petterson is interesting, but again, by the time the Hawks are ready to compete again, he'll be 3-4 years older, I'd be more interested in a pojo type player (younger defensemen on the cusp of breaking into the league). I know the Pens aren't going to trade him for a deal like this, as he's a good defender on an ELC. Barring that, Blackhawks would likely be more interested in draft picks than anything else.

Montreal would match on Montembeault, he played great this past year, if you give him up to minimum salary for a 3rd in compensation then they might not

As always, appreciate the depth you go into. Unfortunately, there's a good chance most if not all of these trades would get rejected.

Also, you're most likely low on Malkin, Marchment, Letang , and Lyubushkin. Normally I don't like to nitpick salaries, but this would obviously put you well over the cap.

Like how you put a lot of work and thought into this, but Kraken GM would be the mo'Ron if he made that deal.

Also not sure what would motivate Anaheim to swap a solid RHD prospect into a joe-average AHL left wing. The only legitimate RHD prospect that we have outside of the NHL and AHL rosters FWIW.

If that’s all it took to get McCann, labanc and a couple depth pieces, San Jose would just do that themselves and build up the quality of their roster
