Don't mind the Hawks moving Hardman and Kalynuk, but there's no reason they would want Craig Smith. They're rebuilding, and an aging forward doesn't help them with the rebuild. The only reason they would take him would be as part of a cap dump, which the Bruins would need to pay for with draft picks or prospects. If the Hawks are moving a prospect like Kalynuk, they'll need another prospect coming back, or draft picks. They aren't interested in aging veterans.

Yeah but they can trade back smith at the TDL for a 2nd depending on his season (more than hardman and kalynuk could return for sure)

Yeah, people have said that about other trades for the hawks. The problem I have with that is the Hawks will likely be looking to be historically bad this year to try and have a chance at Bedard. In that case, I can't see a lot of players having a "good" season on the team, and I doubt their value is going to go up with us.
