Honestly, I couldn't tell you with any accuracy. But that definitely isn't it. If that is his fair market price, I would rather just keep working on his development and hope it works out, than selling low on our 21 year old 3rd overall pick.

The "value" for Dach probably isn't that far off, but as said earlier I think the Hawks would rather swing for the fences and hope he bounces back into a top line (or something close) type of player (where as the Buffalo offered assets are some good pices....they just don't seem to have a top pairing/top line ceiling. Besides that, Johnson as a D (particularly a LD) just doesn't really for Hawks needs overly well not to mention he can play out this college season and make himself a UFA which adds a degree of uncertainty (at least I think he can with a USHL year and 3 in college).
