That's gonna be a very quick no from the Jets my friend. Value is off and Gallagher's contract is scary.

I mean, Gallagher and Schmidt have kinda same value
      I value Gally higher
Dvorak + 1st for an unsigned RFA who is constantly requesting trades, and is very lazy , is close tk fair

      Savard > Barrie
And it's been reported Edmonton will just throw away Pulijujarvi for a pick
And Pitlick is a good player, who can thrive with McDavid
      This seems likely

Dang someone deleted my comment so let me make a better one.

Anderson isn’t worth what you think and it’s a 7th overall pick so they decline
Jets decline because gallys contract is bad and the value isn’t there at all
Stars aren’t giving a first for Petry
Arizona isn’t trading up because Cooley will be available
Oilers could get a lot more than that package
      And romy could get more

Schmidt has way more value than gally. He is still a positive asset and gally just fell off a cliff. He won’t be what he once was

Schmidt and Gally are both still effective and I actually like both players but 3 years a $5.95 vs 5 years at $6.5 is still a big difference. I'm just not huge on Dvorak. As a Jets fan I'd rather hold onto Dubois for the 2 more years and sell at the deadline if a contract can't be reached. I do disagree with the laziness comment though. In CBJ, yes. If you watched him in WPG last year, definitely not.

The Jets aren't giving up the two most valuable pieces for a cap dump, a late first, an expensive bottom sixer and a garbage pick.

The Jets get far more next summer or at the TDL in two years.

well that isn't true.. the oilers aren't willing to trade puljujarvi for a second round pick, who's ready in 3 years. They want a nhl ready player in the trade. And why would montreal trade away petry for the exact same player in Barrie. the value isn't even close for edm

Andy might not be worth that, but it is reported, Ottawa wants a top 6 player like his style, he'd fit perfectly, adn they need to reach the cap floor. They've also stated they're willing tk Deal 7th Overall. With Habs giving 26th, I think it's a deal Ottawa would be intrigued by.

Imo Gally > Schmidt, but for arguments sake, let's say they have equal value.
Dubois isn't worth so much. 60 points in 80 games. Dvo had 37. 1st + 3rd makes the separation more fair, also because Dubois requests trades, he needs a new contract, is lazy. It's pretty fair.

I think Stars will panic, and give a 1st for Petry, if they cannot sign Klingberg. It's a good fit.
He had 21pts in 23 gms under MSL. He's worth a 1st. You can't cherry pick. If you take 1 small, sample size, you gotta use another too. Once again, can't pick and choose. Petry was bad, then good. So what was his value before this past year? 1st ++. 1st + Hakanpaa is fair.

Arizona might want more ready, and more under the radar Shane Wright, rather than Cooley. Habs seem to love Cooley. It's a match made in heaven. These teams trade, it makes sense.

They can, but 2nd + Pitlick for Pulijujarvi is fair value, and Savard > Barrie...so..it's about good.

Romy won't get more. 3m max

You’re a hypocrite if you say romy won’t get more than 3 mil.
Also they could draft a player like Anderson. But he is so inconsistent so why would anyone want him

Stars aren't trading a 1st for Petry. Also aren't swapping the only RD on the roster for another RD. That defeats the purpose of ADDING a RD.

If a 1st Round Pick is the price for Petry, Dallas will go trade less for the lower cap hit Brandon Montour or Tyson Barrie. If Dallas is hellbent on paying a RD until they're 37 years old, they'd be better off spending the extra $1M on re-signing Klingberg & keeping their 1st Round Pick
