CBJ probably consider that, but on the other hand, if Nemec is there, CBJ just go ahead and take him. RD is our number one organizational need, even more than C.

If Nemec is available at 6 I don’t see Columbus trading down.

I'm in the minority, but I think we have a much bigger need at center. We have two first overall picks on d, plus Samuelsson got better as the season went on. Not that we couldn't use a high end right d, but center looks a lot more tenuous to me. So godspeed cbj, take nemec if he falls. No interest in using olofsson to move up 20 spots next year. I don't love the pk subban idea, but I think I actually hate it at three years and 10 million. And we need another goalie to start 40 or so games.

Why do people keep trying to pick the #6 overall on that basis? The only RD of any value whatsoever in our prospect pool is Cuelemans; we badly need more. If Jiricek or Nemec is available at #6, the pick isn't, because barring something crazy like Cooley dropping as well we're taking 'em.
