Trades
1.
COL
  1. Horvat, Bo
  2. 2023 4th round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Assuming Kadri is gone, Horvat obviously will not replace his last year's value but will help fill the hole for sure. Not sure on exact value of the pick but something along these lines.
2.
VAN
  1. 2023 4th round pick (PIT)
PIT
  1. Pearson, Tanner
Additional Details:
Probably not PIT but another team that will send back a similar value pick
3.
VAN
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Myers, Tyler ($3,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Klingberg possibly leaving, DAL may want to try making a run with Seguin and Benn still there. Could also be another team (BOS, NJD, PIT) but I think roughly this is the value with the retained salary
4.
5.
VAN
  1. 2024 3rd round pick (TBL)

As a ranger fan, you dont want that to sign Copp to that deal. He was good when he first got here, but mostly finishing Panarin feeds. In the playoffs when Panarin fell off he was actually miserable to watch. Slow as donuts and turn over machine

VAN is not moving Horvat. They plan to re-sign him to an extension. No reason to move Schenn either. Don't see VAN retaining that much on Myers either, since he does have positive value around the league.

why would we trade bo for another undersized offensive defenseman?? literally the 1 prototype canucks are stacked in

edit : didnt mean to quote this lol

I think COL was trying to get Horvat with the Barrie Trade that ended up being Kadri. I mean if they could have an extension in place before the trade sure done deal. I would even take out the pick.

Did you just say Canucks are stacked in offensive defenceman? OEL is not the offensive force he used to be, rathbone is still a prospect and you never know what could happen. Don’t see why adding a RD (hottest commodity in the league) is a bad tbung

I don’t think they will but just throwing it out there. If Bo wants an 8 year contract, I think we might as well sign Miller at that point…

I think a 2nd for Myers is high which is why I retained but agreed could be less

Schenn I moved because we need more picks in our cupboard and he has value with that contract for a contender. Plus with other additions it’s easier to afford to let him leave

quinn hughes is going to run pp1 for the next __ years. rathbone coming up as well not even including OEL. how on earth is a dcore with half of it below 6 foot, left handed, and offensive going to compete for a cup. Girard is the last type of player the canucks need. why on earth would we trade the captain for him
