Before draft predictions

Description
This is how I see the bruins off-season going. Smith and Reilly will be moved for 3rd rounders which seems like decent value. The other 2 trades will be trying to find high end quality prospects. Buffalo will be willing to downgrade on there late 1st rounder pick getting an extra 3rd and a disgruntled prospect who needs to get a serious shot at a roster spot. In the Ottawa trade Boston moves up about 14 spots into the second round and Ottawa gets an extra 3rd rounder.

Bruins only make 1 big free agent signing bringing in Trocheck. Maybe another depth right D will be signed but other then that Sweeney will try to give young guys the opportunity to slot into the lineup especially until Marchy/McAvoy/Gryz all return.

This team is definitely playoff worthy and could make some noise but first they will need to hold their heads above water until players return healthy.

With the new draft picks acquired, the bruins now have 2 picks where high end prospects can be found. In the first round they will be able to grab a center prospect like Del Beluz or even geekie or kasper if they fall because someone always ends up dropping more then they should have on the first night. With their late second rounder they should take best available. Their prospect pool is weak on both the wings as well as defense. Some guys that should be available will be Kyrou, Dumais, and Rinzel.

Not sure if Pastrnak wants to stay in Boston.......I thought he stated he will not resign as a UFA in Boston if Sweeney remains GM.

Buffalo won’t be doing that. There’s 0 room from Studnika unless we move Mittlestadt/Olofsson

Where there is smoke .....there is fire........I think he wants out because of the lack of quality centres in Bruins system.
