Overpaid for Poolparty, he’s no where near worth Olofsson, Fitz and a 2nd

I just don’t see the NJD trade happening

Yeah Seigs is arguably the devils best true defenseman and was sensational last year, it would take an overpay to aquire him imo because he is definitely not being shopped. Really out of the box trade target though, do like the respect for Siegs

Maybe - since all 3 are young and 2 will be rookies. However, Quinn and Peterka showed some defensive awareness as their AHL seasons progressed (with each even seeing some PK time).

Seems a bit safer to put either Cozens or Asplund on the left side with Krebs and Quinn IMO.

100% agree - Olofsson has proven to be a more reliable scorer so far. There's also this self-imposed cloud that Puljujarvi has put over himself, demanding to be given top 6 minutes and conceding he'll be unhappy otherwise. Why would the Sabres even run the risk of bringing someone in who could become a malcontent and disrupt their lockerroom chemistry? Buffalo has Asplund for defensive assignments and better scoring wingers so they really don't need to take on a project from Edmonton IMO.

Puljujarvi is not a top line guy. He barely produced with Edmontons top 6. Offer sheet him and give up the 2nd and stick him with Peterka and Cozens
