Well…. You could spend that money way way better on someone else that will provide more and do more for the Sens rather than Claude Giroux.

"Team hesitant to spend to the cap this season". Well you just spend to very close to the cap when the bonuses are considered. IMO you are getting into a real tight cap next season when good RFAs will be "entitled" to big long term contracts.
