Nashville could end up trading Saros but not until Askarov is ready and not for Nylander

Los Angeles doesn't need a RD; right now, one of ours is going to have to play LD if we don't find a decent left-hander.

-I mean your thread title says it all, why would the Preds move Saros when they have no one in the system ready to step up and be their #1? They're obviously in "win now" mode after trading for McDonagh, so I can't see a world in which they trade 3 years of Saros for 2 years of Nylander.

-Chicago isn't eating 2x$9.4M of cap for you and only getting a late 1st. It's going to cost a loooot more to do that (and that's only if Muzzin waives that pesky NTC!)

-Holl value is fine, team is wrong. I still say no one knows where he winds up - he'll be a post-frenzy trade where a team misses out on all their targets and figures wasting a mid-rounder on him is better than signing whatever's left in UFA.

-Simmonds actually has a 10 team NTC so he's not going to the desert. He's cheap enough that you can bury him or just leave him as your 14th forward at this point.
