    why does Bob waive to take about a 1/2 mil a year pay cut in alberta provincial taxes? plus the upkick in canadian federal taxes over US?

    Valid point. They need to fix that tax sh*t so each team has an equally fair chance at any player when it comes to money. The teams in the states can pay their extra dollars into escrow or something. Bettman will never change it, and a Canadian team will never win

    Canadian teams can if the player is ok with being a product w**** offer a lot more in endorsement money Toronto tried that with Stamkos (wrong player) other than the obligatory you're watching the lightning on... and his anual charity event for Ronald McDonald house i have yet to see Stamkos do a single comercial
    that no state income tax only applies to TB,FLA,VGK,SMASHVILLE,DALLAS and SEATTLE

    higher revenue teams should get cap relief ? huh? So the rich should be allowed to spend more thats exactly what the salary cap was put into place to prevent

    I wish people would realise that rich people do not pay taxes the way the rest of us. these guys have teams of accountants that make the difference in taxes not matter through a zillion different loop holes.
    The tax difference is not a big deal.
    Saying that, no way bob waives for edmonton, but that's just because it's edmonton
