Pens decline, we will spend those assets on a better player if needed and we don’t really have room down the left unless Zucker is outta town.

That's an insane over payment for gourde. 30 year old 5 mullion dollar guys with one season over 60 points years ago dont get returns like that

Leafs wont make it out of the first week with that tandem in net, let alone the 1st round

The Blues have zero use for Holl. Still. And forever. Pass it on.

The offer for Gourde Seattle would accept (it's overpayment), but not if Mrazek is included for just a late 2nd, it's going to cost more than that given the AAV and term.

Leafs depth scoring dies in the playoffs. This allows Willy and Tavares to split up and keefe never trusted Kerfoot down the middle

I feel like he would get 60 points with Willy and Robertson on his wing. Plus is good defensively. Just trying to re-create our centre depth when we had Matthews, JT and Naz

Where they already have a real good shutdown center in Kampf.

Kampf is a real good shutdown center that is a great faceoff guy and real good PK guy. It's a waste. imo

1/2 the league would pick up the phone on Gourde if Seattle made him available, especially cup contenders. I won't get into the value of Gourde on the trade front, or how TOR might value the assets given up in the trade proposed, but Gourde is very valuable to the Kraken and would probably receive a few significant offers, especially closer to the deadline.

I see little interest in Kase and ZERO interest in Mrazek, so I think there's a better deal for the Kraken that I'm sure might (ALSO) be viewed as an overpay. I'm curious just how bothered Colorado and Tampa are by some of therir overpayments on player additions the oast few years??

Yea I love kampf I just want three good scoring lines and kampf just isn’t an offensive threat. He still has value in D zone starts and PK

IMO Seattle should continue to rebuild and try and get Bedard. Gourde will surely get a package of a 1st a prospect and another pick. Mrazek is more of a cap dump for a team with cap space and dreidger out for the year. Appreciate the perspective as a kraken fan but from the outside I think it’d be a good move for them

Seattle isn't rebuilding, they are building! Moving Gourde for a solid return may well be a good move for them. But this return is one of the more underwhelming I've seen proposed on here, and adding Mrazek only reduces the appeal.

Honestly, the notion of Seattle tradng for Mrazek is just asinine. There are countless better options to add a stop-gap goaltender this off-season, one that doesn't include 2 years @ 3.8 million and puts them at over 13 million on 3 goalies when Driedger recovers. Would you want Toronto to do that? Doubtful.

Kase is an OK player, for the 40-50 games a team might get from him. The picks and the prospect are definite pluses, but again, whatever value they might have is tremendously stymied by the rest!

Seems your basis for this deal is on the notion that Seattle should tank for Bedard; you're ignoring the reports that Seattle is looking to perform better this year and improve the roster this off-season. They also need to put a product on the ice!

Curious what an "outsider" would think who does not support TOR or SEA???
