-I don't think Edmonton moves Puljujarvi for Engvall & a 3rd but I could be surprised.

-Ullmark has a full NMC, I can't see him waiving it; beyond that, can't see Boston making a move like that when they have minimal goalie depth behind Swayman.

-Doesn't make sense for Arizona to trade Little's cap hit - it gives them 2x$5.3M against the cap for only $4.75M this year and $3.75M next (and that's before insurance kicks in.) Mrazek, meanwhile, has a cap hit of 2x$3.8M but actually will get paid *more* real dollars than Little ($4.4M/$4.2M) over the next 2 seasons. Coyotes easily pass.

-I could see a deal based around Sandin for Chychurn with parts added on, but adding Nylander doesn't make sense. Arizona isn't going to contend in those 2 years and would basically get 164 games out of him before he walks away. If they're moving Crouse & Chychurn together it's going to be for a ton of picks and/or guys with a good amount of team control.

-Why does Seattle do you this favor? Larsson is a solid RD1 for them on an affordable deal with term, and he's one of their alternates. I can't see them taking on the older + more expensive Jake Muzzin (coming off a year with only 2 concussions!), a pending UFA in Kerfoot, and an okay prospect in Hirvonen. They're basically clearing $5M in cap for you for Hirvonen and whatever hopeful return they can get for Kerfoot. Easy pass for the Kraken.

Why are you signing Johansson as your shutdown center and bumping Kampf down? Last season in 51 games Johansson was a -26. Kampf last season in 82 games was a + 12 in the shutdown center role. Kampf is a real good shutdown center and was a steal when they got him from Chicago.

I don't think any of this is good for TO. Nylander and Sandin for a 3rd liner and a defenceman Sandin could be at least as good as is a bad deal.

Engvall had pretty much the same amount of points being on the 3rd and 4th lines all season. Pulli barely outscored him while getting a lot of minutes with McDavid. Engvall did as good with Kampf and Kase for the most part. No thanks from TO.

engvall played 13 more games.. puljujarvi was on track for a really good season before his injury/covid. He also put up elite defensive numbers at the same time. Try again.

And him Engvall and Kase/Mikheyev did great. In fact Engvall scored pretty much the same amount of points as Pulli did, despite him getting a lot of time with McDavid

Engvall puts up terrific defensive numbers and once again, didn't play with McDavid. Or Marner or Matthews or JT. Did get some games with Nylander which looked good but it didn't pad his stats. I wonder how good his numbers would look playing with McDavid. I would bet a good amount of money, he would score a lot more than he did and also have even better defensive numbers. The reason he's getting moved by Edmonton is because they don't think his upside is all that high. Good defensively but even with the best player on the planet he's limited offensively. He certainly won't score more points playing with someone other than McDavid, so please try again.

Oiler fans are going to be all over here with the used car salesman routine, "check out those elite defensive stats he has with McDavid, sure we are moving on from him but that doesn't mean he won't be amazing for you so pay up!"

oh wow that's embarrassing you just said any of that. Puljujarvis transition game and defensive game blow Engvall's stats out of the water, and its not close (if you knew how to read advanced stats, and weren't running your mouth over nonsense). I'm not sure why leaf fans think every roster player they have is better then every other roster player on other teams.

Everything you say is flawed and backed up by nothing lmao. and every point you've tried to make just makes me sound even more right (which i am).

Advance stats don't tell the whole story, pulli does well but for anyone playing so much time with McDavid you should score a lot more points than he did. I bet Engvall scores 50+ if he road shot gun to McDavid.

I bet he doesn't lmao, like I said, and if you payed attention to the oilers, he was on fantastic pace before getting injured. This was also before Woodcroft became the coach, so yet again your argument is flawed.

36 points in 65 games. Incredible pace. If he wouldn't have go hurt he may have finished with 45 points! That's elite production when you get the majority of your 5v5 time with the best player in the game, imagine how well he'll do when he isn't with the best player in the world? You know who scored at a higher pace? Kerfoot. I guess Pulli is worth what a 3rd round pick? Amazing player with the best hands in the league. He's going to net you so much.

all you do is base off of points, it makes no sense lmao.you know absolutely nothing about the oilers or even hockey for that matter. There's more to the game then points. but i guess a typical leaf's fan wouldn't know. he has more potential then both of those players, so why compare them? the same thing happened to nichuskin in 2019 I believe when he got traded from the stars, now he's getting payed a bagthis summer. would say kakko and lafreniere have the same trade value as engvall? Nope. point production doesn't decide a players trade value. care to explain against those? you probably cant.
