Description
Defensively they were pretty bad last season, both Mikheyev, Dobson, and Manson should help with that. For NYI fans saying its a bad trade, you're getting a great dman in Christansen who had a monster year in the AHL, the 12th overall pick, and another good bottom pairing dman in Peeke with upside. Columbus still has Chicago's pick (6th)

Isles are not moving Dobson, and even if they were the package you would have to give up as a division rival would have to be massive.

1) I doubt that'll do it.
2) That just makes it unacceptable to the Jackets because Sillinger is an automatic "no". There really isn't a good way for us to acquire Dobson; he's of such astronomically high importance to the Islanders that we'd bankrupt ourselves trying.

adding sillinger would definitely make it a conversation for the islanders, but probably like the guy above said would make it a definite no for the jackets. just don’t see the isles trading him without a huge return, least of all in the division
