It is Toronto's pick. It is lower in the second round. Seattle has four 2nd round picks. They will use at least one of them to trade for a NHL player.

That's quite the overpay for Tarasenko. St Louis has no leverage. No point in bailing them out

I think that would be reasonable, but this isn’t a high second anyways.

I'm not sure it takes a bold gm but any gm with half a brain moves Muzzin and keeps Sandin. Can't say much about the other moves.

Quite an overpay? Jake Muzzin, full cap, You may have missed that part of the trade.

Muzzin is still a good player and that still doesn't change the fact that St Louis has no leverage here.

Seattle will let you keep Kerfoot, but thanks for thinking of them . . . again!

Funny, with the Toronto media coverage on anything that is even remotely a sniff of a possibility, you'd think that if trading Kerfoot were being strongly considered---and thus making true ANY of the thousand Kerfoot trade scenarios on here (usually involving 2022 draft picks and USUALLY Seattle's, lol) that the world would have heard something by now! You know, like maybe which teams are on his no-trade list, for starters.

But I digress! Again, you keep Kerfoot and Seattle will keep the 2nd round pick you want back from the Gio trade. But they can help you out in other ways, I'm sure. If Chicago's not down, perhaps Seattle will retain on that imaginative Tarasenko trade and gladly accept another 2nd rounder from you for their trouble. (?) Just sayin

Their leverage is they can trade him to another team. If Tarasenko wants out he'll waive his ntc. A ntc that Muzzin also has which leaves Toronto with no leverage in trading him...
