Add at least a first to what the kings give Philly, Provorov gets you Durzi, Turcotte and probably more, Konecny has a lot more value than Vilardi

Wait so ur giving up $7 million JVR, a C prospect zamula and a man who should never leave the flyers organization unless it’s on his own accord in lindblom, the 5th pick, and a random 3rd for the third pick, and 37th pick. Your delusional if you think a team is paying for the lot you offered

While I agree this deal is off, you think Zamula is a C prospect? Most sites have him really high, I had him as an A- guy

No I do not have him that high, I rate him similarly to dom fensore of the canes prospects. Fensore is near PPG in the NCAA as a d man and now the captain of BU. Only reason I rate zamula close to him is that zamula has a whole 6 inches on dom. Both players I see playing similar amounts of time in the NHL with zamula being less of a point producer. While it may have been an exaggeration saying he is a C prospect, I don’t see him being that great in the league, most likely a bottom pair d man on a mediocre team and a 4th d on a bad team. Both prospects are likely B- in my opinion, with fensore being the slightly better based on upside. I’d say if philly is giving up any prospect it would have to be Bobby brink because he is fat and away their best prospect.

To put this into perspective, both r top 100 nhl prospects, neither cracks the top 80.

Interesting take. Z put up 29 points in 58 AHL games which is a much more difficult league than the NCAA, so I don’t really agree with it

Also dobber lists Dom as a 5.5 fantasy and 4.5 NHL certainty while giving Z a 7.0 fantasy and 9.0 NHL. Z’s major size advantage probably helps him with his defensive game a lot more as well.

We were only interested in a Konecny-Provorov package before we got Kevin Fiala. Now we have only the roster and cap space for Provorov, and Iafallo and Walker would have to go your way. Try again.

Being .5 PPG in the AHL imo isn’t as impressive as PPG in the NCAA. To put it into perspective, Adam fox put up near PPG in his sophomore season in the NCAA. I get that this is a very very extreme example but it shows that ncaa players can translate well to the nhl. I will give you all the details and say that fox put up 1.5 PPG his final season so im not saying a player who puts up near PPG in the ncaa is nhl ready, im saying a player who puts up 1.5 is nhl ready. I don’t know who dobber is myself but if you could send me the info I would love to use it as another source for the future. The reason I compare them as similar prospects is because fensore has a higher ceiling with less of a chance of him getting there where as Zamula has a lower ceiling but a much better chance of getting there. If fensore puts up over PPG this season he will most likely be an NHLer who is seen as better as zamula and his progression points in that direction. Makar in his final season with umass he put up 49 in 41. Im not saying fensore will be fox or makar but these are the best examples of NCAA d men in recent memory. I’d imagine if fensore puts up 1.15 PPG this season he will have a spot on an NHL roster in 2 seasons. That’s why I rank him similarly to zamula even tho zamula has a better chance at making the league.

Fox had 2 of his 3 years in college over a PPG with one season one point shy of a PPG, Dom has 3 years in college, 2 seasons at .5Ppg and one 5 points shy of a PPG, you’re comparing Fox’s worst year to Doms best and Fox was still better. Makar put up those numbers in his sophomore year btw,

Dobber is the top prospect ranking site, they rank in fan fantasy which would show just how well they are at putting up points, and NHL certainty which shows how well rounded they are…for comparison, Scott Morrow is a 7.5 and 7.5, getting a above an 8 in NHL tends to mean multiple scouts believe he will be an All-Star caliber player

Anyway, no one can ever be certain with prospects, everyone rates them differently, still interesting to hear different views on the matter
