Like this deal for both teams. Market kinda set with Fiala returning 19th overall + Faber, this return is still a hefty price for a young player. Basically a better Fiala return for a better Fiala. OTT’s risk is obviously the QO next year which can walk him to FA but both teams still benefit from this trade. Assume a long term extension between 8-8.5M happens.

So... did Matt Murray just single handedly save the Sens by nixing that ****ty Buffalo trade?

Because LMAO they FLEECED the Blackhawks good lord!

I want to add this here just to point out that it is worth noting that cat can leave in 2 years, and that the sens (even with cat) aren't very good. That is obviously a huge concern and I get it. Debrincat is so good that I think the risk is worth it. Now PD needs to actually build a decent team. He has failed to do so up to now, let's hope this signals a course change for him. Or not I'm a leafs fan

Yeah not great return for a 40 goal scorer on a steal of a deal and with RFA rights

Should be concerned with Dach as with what we just saw he might get traded for a late 1st or 2nd

And then you got Strome and Kubalik news and man its not looking good
