Based on what we just saw they’d take a 24 fifth rounder and a bag of beans lol. I hope my canes offer Bear and a third this year for Kane half retained.

Lol. Media getting crazy. Wanting a top 15 pick for Dach is much more reasonable. Can point to several teams before 24 that could use a guy like Dach

Yea but seeing public outcry after cat they will probably just hold onto him if they don’t get a top 18 pick realistically. Not the return u want on a 3rd overall pick who is 3 years removed from his draft. At this point if they don’t trade him they are in danger of the offersheet.

Who knows? It’s just an idea, Boldy/Rossi/Dach would be a fun kids line to watch

The Wild gave plenty of prospects to throw into any potential trade too.

One of Beckman or Hunt plus the 19th or 24th probably could get it done.

Tbh 19 and a prospect gets dach. Hard tho considering that they would have traded essentially fiala and a prospect for faber and dach. I mean the upside is there for Minnesota but it’s hard to tell what’s going to happen

I wouldn’t give up Beckman and 19 for Dach, if we were to bring up Beckman this year for the entire season he would easily match Dachs point production. I’d be willing to do one of 19 or 24 but Dach hasn’t shown much of anything so you’re just banking on upside.

24 and Hunt would be a decent deal I think, I wouldn't do Beckman. I don't love it though, would rather move Addison like I mentioned in my thread. I know there's the whole scary situation with Russians right now, but Corey Pronman seems to believe Miroshnichenko will be available in the mid- to late- 20's based on his conversations with scouts/execs and I would LOVE taking him at 24 if we also select at 19.

I’m a fan of both Yurov and Miro so I’d have no problem taking either of them, if they weren’t Russians and if Miro hadn’t been diagnosed with cancer they’d both be top 12 picks no doubt. Guerin and Brackett aren’t scared of going against the grain either so I can definitely see them going with a Russian in the 1 round. The reasoning behind trading one of our 1sts for Dach is to bring in a cheap young forward that can play this season vs having to wait 2-3 for whoever we draft to show up.

I'd rather have McGroarty than Miroshnichenko at 24 tbh. And I'd rather have Dach than either of those two, and I LOVE McGroarty.

I typically shy away from guys that aren't good skaters. Just my personal preference, I know there's lots of good players who are poor skaters in the league (Stone, Tavares, etc.) but skating typically wins you cups. Just look at the cup finals this year, the Avs and Lightning are two of the fastest teams in the league.

I dunno, Miroshnichenko would have been a top 5 pick in this draft if he hadn't been diagnosed with cancer and weren't Russian, I think he has one of the highest ceilings in this entire draft class (maybe even higher than Dach's). The cancer he has is very treatable, so I'm not worried about that.

I think Miroshnichenko would have been a top 5 lock, he's so talented. Really hoping we can grab him. I don't disagree with your last sentence at all, I think Dach would have a really good opportunity to thrive here and having Dach and Rossi as your 1-2 punch does leave me salivating.

My desire for McGroarty over Miroshnichenko is simple.

    Center
    Center
    CENTER

    That is all.

Besides, skating can be improved in time with quality skating coaches helping the prospect develop in that area over time.

After today, you could probably get Dach for a 3rd rounder; apparently our new GM is garbage
