Will likely be his last deal. Fair bit of money for an aging goaltender but the man has been reliable health wise through is career, so I don't think this isn't a bad contract.

If there was a 50/50 option, I'd pick that. Lots of factors at play. This could either be really good... or it could be Mike Smith.

He should still be effective next year, as a 1b or at worse, a backup. So this shouldn't be a bad deal. Then again, one nagging injury could make it a disaster and at his age, that's more and more likely.
