Lmao everyone on this site has been screaming for months that it will cost an arm and a leg to move Petr and stupid leafs fans were delusional for saying it would cost anything less and all it ended up costing was 13 spots that amount to virtually no actual draft pick value.

****ing LOL

The fact that after all that, this isn't all the way leafs win says everything you need to know about CF users.
Leafs win easily and it isn't close

Is what it is.

I'm expecting a lot of "I thought they wouldn't have to attach the 1st to Mrazek".

I feel like Dubas has to trade assets every year for his terrible signings and trades. Somehow Leafs Nation still think he's a good GM tears of joy

Good on CHI. Rolls the dice on Mrazek. Trades back into the 1st to capitalize on a high prospect dropping.

Happy to see someone “weaponize the cap,” who isn’t AZ.

TOR scores some much needed cap space.

Pretty fair value on both ends.

I mean, fair trade for both.. kinda upset we gave up a 1st which could've been Lambert, but it is what it is... frees up more money for a goalie I guess. (EDIT yeah so blackhawks ****ed that pick up Leafs win this trade....)

13 spots to shave 3.8M in cap space? I'm good with it.

80 pts in value chart. a mid 2nd rounder. Which lines up with the returns for cap dumps, Bonino and Gostibehere in the last 2 years.. No one is surprised.

To jump from #38 to #25, you would need pick #43 or #44.

Toronto is basically paying a second to dump Mrazek.

Fair deal.

I said fair deal, but this is move benefits the Leafs greatly.
Chicago turns an early 2nd into a late first and gets a goalie who will help them secure 1st overall next year... lol

Leafs move a bad contract for barely anything.
Shoutout to all the goofs on here that said that moving Mrazek would cost a 1st without anything coming back.
