Only one I'm really proud of is a Tavares rookie card. I have a Seth Jones rookie card too. The thing is, I have a ton of cards but nothing too great,

I have a McDavid Young Guns! yay! I also have a Seabrook Rookie Threads that one of my friends got for my birthday, I later got it signed at the Hawks convention. Those are probably the two I like the most.

I pulled the McDavid myself. But I don't usually Buy a whole lot of cards. Usually I add the duplicates to my pin board and it attracts some attention in my Arizona Dorm room. Its a good talking piece really. All my good cards are back at my parents house in their protective sleeves.

Yeah, that's pretty cool, nothing better than pulling an awesome card yourself, unfortunately this didn't happen much for me, every so often I would be a decent pull, probably my best being an Erik Karlsson Young Guns from a $5 Walmart double pack. I don't have the opportunity to pull many cards now as I just buy singles most of the time, maybe get a box of cards for Christmas or something.

What are your thoughts on graded cards?

Oh I am not much of a price/grading person. I get a box for Christmas from my grandparents but I am not that big of a collector. I know the McDavid is worth a pretty penny but other than that I don't pay much attention to them or the grade.

I seriously got a box of about 50 2005-06 rookie cards for only 5 dollars a few years ago ... seriously, 5 dollars.

Edit: I got Crosby, Ovi, and more good rookie cards ... that was one of the best rookie seasons ever, how was it only 5 dollars?

Is the type of cards rookie class? I picked up a box for $10 and it had Kane, Toews, Price, ect.

They are mass produced and not worth much

I used to collect hockey cards when I was a kid. haven't collected them in many many years but I had quite the collection. a lot of my cards are very old though (from the 60s and 70s) because my dad used to collect hockey cards so he passed his collection down to me. i also have a lot of jersey cards. my best card is either my graded bobby Orr 2nd year card, or my Sidney Crosby Rookie Jersey card

I don't throw away cards. Likely have one in one of my sleeves or boxes in the basement.
