Possibly look at signing Pierre Luc Dubois when he becomes a free agent IF (and it is a big "IF") they have the cap space after the young core is signed long-term.

I think signing rutta as a meh free agent helps your youth gain experience, and also takes off a lot of pressure, I agree to not sign a very good free agent like klingberg or something
