At this point, OTT looks good, maybe lacking a goalie, but the rest is easliy a solid playoff team. Might attract Malkin

Malkin has already won plenty. He’s getting older and now is just looking for the big money bag

I did 6.75 because I thought it was fair but they would be able to up it to like 8 with the cap space they have.

i did geno to detroit at over 9 million back in like december. people said he would never go there and i agree with that now. hes not leaving pittsburgh, especially with that underwhelming payment in a canadian market

He doesnt have much of a choice with the contracts Pittsburgh still has to sign and ottawa has over 4 mil of cap space they can use so they can freely negotiate with Malkin.

Pittsburgh has cheaper tax rates. And also Pittsburgh has much more than $6.75M to spend on Geno

Why would he take less money, go through a hassle to move, play in an unfamiliar environment, and go to a worse team?

He would be making more money than he would at Pittsburgh obviously and with the Senators team I built they could be better than Pittsburgh.
