Description

Almost definitely too much to ask, but I wanted to play around with the extra cap space the team now has.

I think Kane can be had for less than what people might think, but obviously depends heavily on willingness to come to Edmonton. Talbot likely coats another prospect or pick on top of what I traded for here. RW depth is also a bit of a concern, and the D is no better than last year. Still, looks like a nice roster to me.

I like all of this but would not pay that much for Talbots, you have to keep petrov no matter what imo

Yeah, I struggled with that too but I didn't want to be a homer and also figure you'd have to pay up to get a starter in a trade. I always have trouble evaluating what is a fair return in a trade.

I’m thinking a third and a prospect like samorukov or lavoie for Talbots should do it since it also clears lots of space for wild
