I think you can build a trade out of the Varlamov-for-Nylander base but the Isles have to add a good amount. I think if you throw in Mayfield and take back Holl you can gain some ground on making it even, and then throw in a pick and/or a prospect to close it out. Something like this might work better:


TO TOR: Varlamov, Mayfield, 2024 2nd, Simon Holmstrom?

TO NYI: Nylander, Holl

Only in the minds of Islander fans can you build a trade around Nylander and Varlamov. It's not happening period. And it would never get you Nylander. What a absolute ridiculous idea.

Lol Islander fans very literally cried when JT left and remain so bitter they now hate the Leafs more than they like the Islanders. Is ridiculous.
