The Leafs finished 4th overall last season. Seem like they were different to play against

Size makes a big difference for the playoffs. This team is quite a bit bigger and still highly skilled. Losing Marner HURTS but they get Kane and Wilson and Nichushkin who are all talented and who are all huge.

Drury just hangs up on you and blocks your number. Absurd trade.

Still with these, hey?

Seattle is not trading two 2nd rounders (in an even deeper draft) for 2 players on expiring contracts

Kerfoot to Seattle for some Leaf fans is like "crack to an addict". Just gotta have it.

Caps trade would be tough to stomach because Wilson is such a huge character for the team and the fan base. It’s hard to say no to one of the top wingers in the league though. I don’t see how we could say no if we’re going for it still.

Would be hard to stomach from the Leafs end of things because Marner is insane and he is loveeeeed. Super hard worker. But I think it gives both teams what they need. Leafs get a big bodied power forward and cap space and some futures. Washington get one of the best wingers in the game.

Leafs problem isn't that they have 40m in 4 forwards. It's that they have 33m in 3 forwards. This solves that.
