Le repêchage est maintenant chose du passé et la saison des agents libres débutera mercredi prochain. Nouvelle saison nouveau fil de discussion pour les partisans de la sainte flanelle.

I’d give Slaf a 9 game tryout ( 10 games and his contract doesn’t slide ) and see if he should play the rest of the year in the big leagues

couple of thoughts based on messages ^

- i do think slaf will get 9 games in the NHL, and if hes good, keep him up. otherwise send him down to wherever his contract slides (AHL, finland, idk)
- 60 is quite the odd number for slaf, was hoping he'd get 21 (and guhle switches to something else, maybe 6 if they allow it otherwise idk 27?

and the habs missed out on laffy in 2020, but we chose slaffy in 2022... ba dum tss

Slaf to me gets a 9 game tryout then we see. He would benefit better from 1 AHL year, whether we have an open lineup space or not

What is your opinion on that defense : Matheson-Savard Edmundson-Barron Harris-Wideman Schueneman. I think they will get overwhelmed on the forecheck and they will be stock in their own zone forever lol
