Buffalo isn't trading one of their best forward prospects for a year of Patrick Kane.

Flyers definitely wouldn't trade a top prospect just to get out of 1 year of a contract. I'd say Philly might have to add a late round pick but probably can just trade JVR for a late round pick.

Winnipeg would be interested in Toews, but not at 5 mill. A third team would have to get involved to pay some of the salary. And his worth is a b level prospect and a mid pick.

Apparently the report is nobody wants JVR even with some picks they might have to give up Florida’s first

If buffalo is in a wild card spot, Jack Quinn will have alot to do with it. No way.

Also, Kane will never play for buffalo

I agree that trade will never happen and Quinn won’t get moved but I don’t think they’re a wild card team still a bottom 5-6 team in the east

Pinto and a ‘23 1st is way too much to bring Murphy on. If anything Ottawa would just not dump Zaitsev and Murray so they’d pay considerably less…

The 1st might be in the table to facilitate the dump/acquisition but there’s no way Pinto’s on the table.

They will probably be around 500 or slightly above. They had a winning record the last 41 games of the season.

Agreed......but they could be interested in Murphy for some draft picks and a lower-end prospect

Possibly, but I think there may be some concerns around his concussions last season and how he recovers from those.

At that point I’d just keep him, after the coaching change, JVR, like every Flyer, did much better… put up 22 goals in the last 58 games.
