I see what you’re trying to do with the backstrom trade but it doesn’t make sense at this point considering they are planning on him coming back.

If you think this will work then you are wrong. Killorn doesn’t have negative value and neither does Backstrom. Backstrom is a good player and there is no reason to pay assets to move him

Pens aren't giving up 4 picks to lose 1 year of Zucker, especially when everyone knows we're facing a full rebuild in a couple of years.

It seems highly unlikely that the Sabres would keep Peterka off the NHL roster just to gift Zucker (and the useless Bjork) on it.

Until he says himself that he is completely done playing the caps won't move backstrom's contract. Would never take the risk of him suiting up for another team
