Fitz said he is done with any goaltending moves and is not trading Blackwoood. We don't want Campbell at the insane price he is setting.

I think you'd need another goalie as well. An injury puts us in a horrible spot

Then he may very well take a discount to stay in a comfortable place.

Didn't know that 🤷‍♀️

Campbell is setting a high price hoping the Leafs will give him "please don't leave us" money. He'll never fetch it in the open market. Guess you might get him without sacrificing assets then.

He can fetch it on the open market with so many teams in need of goaltending help and the UFA crop being so thin, even thinner with Holtby's news. Because the goalie market is desperate you are not getting Blackwood cheap if the Devils shift course and do trade him.

I dont think Blackwood is going anywhere as I got a feeling NJ plan is tandem between him and Vanacek
