Dvorak doesn't get us Girard. And anyway, do we really wanna trade for a LD? Can't we trade for a RD instead? You know, one of our needs. We're pretty filled at LD with all those prospects but we're pretty thin on RD.

Petry - Most likely gone this summer.
Savard & Wideman - Ideally, should both be 3rd pair.
Barron & Mailloux - Good prospects but they don't make the NHL this year or next. (Don't think they rush them)
Kostenko & Sobolev - Lucky if they make the AHL.

You still need to have backup plans even though you have 2 good RD prospects, and it isn't guaranteed that both make it.

If we're to add to our defensive, we should focus on strengthening our right side.
