Can’t complain about this too much as it’s mostly moving players out, not sure about Turcotte’s value but I don’t think it’s that low. I’d also say that Robinson and Bemstrom probably don’t have that kind of value but maybe to the right team.

Yeah, I really don't know about what Turcotte would be worth to them. They have so many center prospects though and Turcotte's injuries are pretty rough so far.

I think a winger like Robinson has value to Toronto. He provides more value than the $1.6 mil he's signed for and he has 2 years left. For a team that tight on cap space they need guys that punch above their AAV.

Vancouver could probably use Bemstrom to play on their third line. Assuming they get futures back for Miller, they're gonna need a body to fill in after they bump someone up. Bemstrom is pretty low risk and could still turn into a decent middle 6 guy.

Very well thought out. Teams make sense. Turcotte probably doesn’t get moved for that. The only player I’d be really sad to see go would be foudy as I think he can still put it together in a bottom 6 role as a Carl haglin type player.

Would probably take more than that for Turcotte. His value has dropped but he’s still a good player. With how many good defenseman are coming into CBJ (Svozil, Jiricek, Mateychuk), and guys like Boqvist, I could see the Kings asking for Bean. Maybe kings sweeten the deal to get Bean but I don’t think he’s got a spot on the team for much longer with how good CBJ’s D pipeline looks. In 2-3 years a D core of

Werenski - Peeke
Svozil - Jiricek
Mateychuk - Boqvist

That’s scary

I definitely wouldn't have an issue with Bean. Seems like Edmonton may have more of a desire for 2 fowards instead of him anyway so I could rework that.

Yeah Bean looks to be on the outside looking in and Edmonton would definitely be interested

I think that’s maybe even too generous for the kings but maybe I just value him too much. I could see kings giving Turcotte and a 3rd for Bean. Not really sure what Bean’s value is to be fair

The CBJ just traded a 2nd for Bean last year, but it kinda felt like his stock took a hit with how he played last season. He was kinda thrown into it though on his off-side in the top 4 so maybe it wasn't as big of a deal that he was struggling there.

Yeah, I keep starting ACGMs that try to keep Foudy around, but the arrivals of Johnson, Marchenko, Sillinger and Chinakhov just don't allow for it. I could have seen him being one of the press-box guys that is ready to fill in for injury or rotate in as needed, but then they went and traded for Olivier so that role has him written all over it.

Same goes for Nyquist. Boy would I love for them to keep him on a cheap 3-year extension as a 3rd line PK guy, but it just doesn't make sense anymore with the talent they've found in the draft.

Yeah that’s a good problem to have. Kings are in a similar position. Laine, Roslovic, Vorachek, Bjorkstrand, Sillinger, Johnson, Jenner, Chinakov are guaranteed spots, after them, gonna be some tough decisions

I'm pretty adamant on Marchenko being a lock too. He's coming over from Russia as a 22 year old and so many people who have watched him play are saying he's going to be dynamite.

I'm very jealous of the Kings position though. That many strong young roster players and prospects is crazy. They're my pick to be a late decade dynasty in the 20s.

Looks like Bemstrom is being qualified and they're working on a new contract so I'm even more confused about where this roster is going now.

I don't think Bemstrom and Robinson are the odd ones out. They have obvious, tangible contributions to the team (Bemstrom defensively and Robinson as a forechecker and ice-tilter), so I hesitate to move them. Even if they never improve from where they are, they at least have established roles to lean back on, so that makes it much easier to build a sane roster.

Seems like the team management agrees with you on Bemstrom. He's getting his QO and they're working out a new contract.

Added a Bemstrom contract and put the CBJ in the middle of a Murray trade between Ottawa and Toronto that has them retaining almost all of Murray's cap hit by also taking on Holl. Also deleted TFW and Carlsson since the word is they may not be qualified.

I"m going to go ahead and assume that that 2023 1st from Ottawa is lottery-protected, because otherwise I don't see them even considering it. Even then, it might be a bit rich for 'em.

Maybe. They're pretty desperate to get the $15 mil they owe Murray completely off the books though so they can have the actual cash to either back up whatever contracts they want to offer to free agents or to make the team appear more attractive for a sale.

I suppose it's possible.
