Honestly only LA can compete with this in my opinion.

Few teams I can think of, Carolina is up there imo with svech and Jarvis and such a deep prospect pool. The ducks 2nd line is better than the canes but I would say the canes 3rd and 4th line is better. Ducks top end talent at D is better than the canes, I would say their first line is better but the canes 3rd is and it’s a coin toss at the second pairing with the ducks LD being better than the canes but the canes RD being better than the duck imo. Goaltending is pretty even imo with kochetkov and dostal both being top goalie prospects that aren’t askarov, cossa, or wallstedt. I’d argue kochetkov and dostal are 4 and 5 there. Overall I’d say if the canes U23 played the ducks U23 in a best of 7 series I see it going to 7 games personally. Loads of NHL talent and stars with both teams.

100% I would say a solid 5th option is the devils, nico isn’t u23 anymore but they still have loads of talent. Hughes is arguably the best U23 NHLer rn, Luke Hughes and Simon nemec headling the blue line, and still loads of talent among that with plenty of former first round picks. Only short is goaltending but nico daws is still a very good goalie prospect, I would have him in my top 10 for goalie prospects.

Honestly thinking about it a little more buffalo may be taking the cake out of everybody. Dahlin, power, cozens, krebs, Quinn, savoie, ostlund, kulich, Johnson, and Rosen all just being first round picks under 23. UPL may be 23 but I’m not sure if he’s not he’s 22. Their drafting isn’t the best in later rounds like Carolina but the amount of first round talent in their system is criminal. Honestly they may take the cake solely based on top end talent.
