it's going to be a long season.

I know a lot of people are upset with the Debrincat trade, as they should be. However, I see what happened this week as a W for the blackhawks, since we have finally commited to a full on rebuild/teardown. I'm really happy with our draft and prospects, but still upset we couldn't get anything for Strome.

There's no better time to tank since the upcoming draft and future drafts to follow are going to be super super deep and talented. Again, I'm disappointed with the return for deBrincat, but if it is the reason that we end up getting Bedard, then none of what happened matters.

There's a lot of negeative attitude coming from Chicago fans, but this rebuild should have started years ago and everyone should be happy that Davidson wants to dominate the NHL with another dynasty, rather than continue to have a borderline playoff team for the next few years.

Chicago is moving out Kane, Toews, Jones and Johnson next as part of their tanking strategy under Davidson.

Embarrassing.

Spirit of competition is the essence of sports. Blackhawks aren't even pretending to attempt to ice an NHL-caliber roster and they'll potentially be rewarded with a generational talent they don't deserve.

Davidson is basically hoping Toews and Kane come to him asking to get out just so he isn't seen as the guy who ran the two franchise icons out of town.

Easiest thing to do is tear apart a roster. Let's see if he's competent enough to build it back up...

I always loved the Blackhawks, but after the Kyle Beach story and this shameful tank job, I've lost all respect.
