That probably doesn't get Tarasenko. First, Frederic, and a D prospect like Lohrei, and that's probably not the most competitive offer STL will get.
I want nothing to do with Vatrano and he won't come back, and that NSH trade is (I'm guessing) a joke. Smith has value, but not taking Foligno's contract value.

I don’t think garbage nets you Tarasenko.

Blues don't take that and giving up Smith to get rid of Foligno is a bad move. Wagner isn't good enough to be an NHL regular.

So a bottom pairing Dman, a 4th liner and a 2nd round pick for Tarasenko. It's gonna take a lot more to get Tarasenko

That's not even close for Tarasenko. The only likeable aspect of this deal is Frederic and he doesn't have much value.

Nah even with debrusk BOS is still miles off
Maybe Fredric, Lysell, Grzylck, and a first

That's way too much for a guy who has missed significant time due to injuries over the past 2 of 3 years and has one year remaining on his contract (+full NTC). Blues won't get that return from anyone.

for a year of Senko? really cant see any team paying that much for an injury prone player who wants out (with a big cap hit)

Injury prone are you outta your mind? Dude gets injured once and all of a Sudden he’s injury prone, hell ig ovi, Matthews, McDavid, Josi are all injury prone too then, not to mention makar, Nate Mac, Vasy, I could go on and on.

He played 34 games in 2 seasons (albeit COVID year). Maybe "injury prone" wasn't the right term, but risk of injury is certainly higher than most

The injuries of the guys you listed are FAR different from Tarasenko. Missing 20 games is a lot different than missing over 100

It was injury that had the surgery screwed up, then he had the right surgery and it was fixed
