If Murray is 50% retained and we are taking holl, change the 2nd to a 3rd

The Sens don’t want holl . He’D only be going back to even the cap. We have 4 3rd pair guys if we acquire holl

Then we wouldn't send him if its going to reduce the package coming back cause we can move him for assets

The deal is going to be Murray 50% retained and maybe a 3rd or 4th for Holl. The Sens will bury Holl and only have 1 mill agains the cap

Can't see Strome signing that low even if his preference is to play in Toronto (which idk if that's the case).

Would probably be more than one year, can't see it being much more - maybe $3M

That trade would end up with Ottawa paying $5.125 million and a 2nd and a 4th for Holl.

Has was on a 57 point pace last year though, my guess was something around $4.25m/4 years but who knows.

Not really sure what to tell you but the fact that no one is even willing to trade for his rights due to his QO of 3.6M tells me he won't be getting much

not likely, they really want to get rid of him to take a run at some high end free agents,

yes his QO is low at 3.6 but he has ARB rights which could get him a lot more and the team would be stuck with whatever is decided once he gets a QO. it is the same reason Kase didnt get a QO.

If they retain 50% on Murray and move Brown for futures with full cap relief , that’s how they fit Giroux. Zaitsev is also on his way out

yes i agree with you, but they tried to move him to BUFF with 25% retained and a significante prospect and the 7th overall for the 16th overall, so it seems like you may have to move more than a 4th with him.
