Description
Trade #1: I know Jim Nill likes Petry and I could see Klingberg singing with Seattle. I think this trade is fair for both sides, Petry bounced back under MSL and has a fair cap at 5M$, he has at least 2 good years in him. Dallas doesnt lose one their better prospects or a 1st round pick.
Trade #2 : Cap dump. If NJ manages to get someone like Miller and goes for the playoffs, Armia could be a good 4th liner, 3rd for injuries. Number of teams are reportedly interested since his WC performance.
Trade #3: I'm not sure about this one, but I know Ottawa really liked Dvorak's end of the season and are interested in him. Boucher has been really disappointing for a 10th overall pick. While he isnt a complete bust, I see him as the equivalent of a 2nd round pick. Its a similar trade than the Lekhonen one, but Dvorak has term and a good salary. Ottawa can use Formenton and/or Bernard-Docker for another trade.
Trade #4: I dont see this one happening at all, but I think it would actually be good for both teams. If the Oilers don't manage to sign Campbell, Allen can be a very good and cheap alternative. He has been consistent and has stolen games this year despite an absolutely horrible defense in front of him. Goalies are overpriced on the market right now, and contender teams don't necessarily need an elite goalie to win the cup, a guy like Allen can do it just fine (like Colorado has proven). Edmonton gets rid of the contract of Barrie and Puljujarvi which they said they wouldnt signed. The 2nd compensate for the fact MTL retains on Allen and EDM doesnt on Barrie. Edmonton gets Norlinder who has deceived, but is still young.
Because I put Price on IR and not LTIR, we end up with no cap space but resigned everyone we needed to. The contract's of Drouin, Byron, Dadonov, Pitlick and Khudobin (12.58M$) end next july, some of them (if not all) will be traded at the deadline for picks. It gives us enough to sign Caufield and possibly a goaltender in free agency. The contracts of Hoffman, Savard and Barrie (another 12,5M$) end the year after, they should all be traded by then.
We end up with Dellandrea, Boucher and Puljujarvi. Two first picks (one in the top 10) and four seconds in 2023.

Khudobin's salary is $333,333,333. The $2,208,333 is his cap hit if he is in the minors

Wtv, Im sure someone will pay a good amount for him. I would rather have Allen at 1.5 and spend the money somewhere else than Campbell and Barrie for 10M$ total.

Armia is TERRIBLE. There are many other cheaper options that can do what he can do.

Well, good thing you are not GM. Oilers are likely to trade Barrie and Campbell sure deserves $5mil
Elliotte Friedman said, "We'd all be very shocked if Campbell doesn't sign in EDM."

Dallas is not giving up Dellandrea + a future 2nd for Petry. I think someone more realistic from the Dallas side is Khudobin + Damiani + 4th.
