Those are all Toronto fans being delusional . Pinto is going to start as a 3C but he projects way better than that. I’m very high on him.

Can guarantee none of them came from Sens fans lol. Also Ottawa is reportedly fine biting the bullet on retention, no reason to pay premium assets to dump it off on another team.

If they retain 3 mill and move Brown for assets, that’s their money to get Giroux

OR Wegaer or Klienberg.

Has anyone heard anything on if they are still talking to the yotes about Chucryn?

Brown, Zaitsev, prospect, and next year's 1st does that get it done?

Haven't heard/seen anything on the Chychrun front. Last I saw was that they were still in even after they moved the 7th for DeBrincat, so I'd assume yes. My best case would be Weegar though. Impact guy, natural RHD and an Ottawa boy. Would be a perfect final piece to sell Giroux (if he hasn't been sold yet) that Ottawa is the choice.

I can’t see Ottawa signing Klingberg. Isn’t good defensively and will cost too much . Barrie also isn’t a good fit

My thoughts as well, I think Weeger would be the best D they could add. After that, I still like the idea of bringing in Giroux as well, at the right price and term, but I would be ok if they didn't.

Weegar will want too much money . Marino or Chychrun will be much cheaper. I could see Weegar wanting 6+ mill from ages 30 to 37

ouch, I didn't think he was asking that much term.

I was thinking more of a 3-4 year deal range at 5 per, kinda like Giroux then prospects can jump ahead of him as they mature.

Chychrun probably also costs too much as far as assets in trade but would be a good option.

I didn't see Marino enough to know if he would be good as a pairing with Sanderson or not. However, I think the ask in a trade would be at good value though.
