Gaudreau just turned down 9.5 mil AAV to stay in Calgary. He's not taking 7.75 mil to play in Detroit. LOL Zero interest in the Bert trade. Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder will all be better than Sandin. Don't listen to the biased Leafs fan. Coyotes will want better players for Chychrun. Strome wasn't qualified by Chicago so he's a UFA now.

Apparently you gave us a 4th for Strome and then let him walk to free agency to go elsewhere; thanks for the freebie though! smile

The Yzerplan is all about patience and minimizing risk. Neither the Toronto or Arizona trade do that. Detroit has some very good LHD prospects so giving up a bunch of assets for 2 LHDs doesn't make a lot of sense when Detroit isn't even a playoff team yet. So why acquire players we don't even know if we need. Signing Rutta doesn't make Hronek expendable.

Leafs want to take this, but Bert doesn't make it into the SBA, sorry buds.

Also, probably wouldn't send the 1st for a rental.

Sorry, Stevie

That is a terrible return for Bertuzzi. The Leafs would still make that trade even if he couldn’t play in Canada, that’s how bad it is.

Great satire

He's a rental and will be valued as such. A first round pick and an RFA 22 year old defenceman who could play in your top 4, when you only have Oesterle signed to LD... yeah it's a good trade. The Leafs would not take this trade as-is, give it up.

This trade will never happen so it’s a moot point discussing anything.
