Drop the retention and add a 1st if you want the habs to pick up the phone

I just don't see the Stars adding a 1st on top of that existing offer... Petry's numbers were not super great last year. Could deal with removing the retention though.

The reason the Stars wont do that is because Montreal, Philly and Ottawa decline. Half of those contracts are unrealistic too.

Stranges is not going to be in the NHL this year. Stankoven probably goes back to juniors for another year too. Faksa is not worth the third, you'd have to give PHI the 3rd for them to take them. Also why are you offer sheeting Strome? The Hawks are letting him walk so you just gave them a free 2nd rounder. There is no point in doing the OTT trade either, Tufte is more valuable to the Stars right now than a 4th round pick in 2 years, also saves minimal cap space. No offense man, but these moves just don't make a ton of sense.

Yes, just like every single habs player he had very bad numbers to start the season but just like caufield dvorak and many more he played way better to finish the season under MSL, he has 21 points in 31 games under MSL which is a 57 point pace consistent with his play in recent years (habs still has a 9 game losing streak under MSL mind you) he's a top 3 D on almost every team and he's a RHD at 6'3, unless you pay he stays in montreal as our NO. 1 Dmen
