Pens decline, we have no reason to move Blueger and the only reason it would happen is if Hextall got an offer that he couldn’t pass up. So in other words, the only way Blueger even gets talked about in a trade, is if the other team overpays for him.

Pilut doesn't sign here to play in the AHL.

I think Blueger is a fantastic bottom six center, but I think this team can only sustain one addition to forward and even then that's cutting it close. I see absolutely no reason why Krebs should be in the AHL, he has some of the best vision I've seen on our team since Reino at least, and he'll only get better with more experience against NHL defenses.

Goalie is fine. We're not trying to sort out our starter for the next decade; they're already in the pipeline imo and we just need a reliable goalie to keep the young forwards and dmen feeling confident. It'll likely be a committee situation where UPL is up for some games too and all three play 20+ games.

Pilut is starting year in Roch if he signs back with Buffalo and then hopefully succeeds and he moves to the Big Club

Pilut reportedly is willing to come back on a two way deal.

Krebs was a mainstay in buffalo last year, I don't see how going to AHL helps anybody. Doesn't help the team and won't really help his development.

Yea, now that they are not going to sign Malkin, they have more cap space. I was anticipating they would get something done and be in a cap squeeze, but that is not the case now
