I'm excited to see what happens. Howden, Donato, Haydn Fleury, and Sprong all didn't receive QOs, I think they are all interesting targets too. I really like the idea of getting Howden

No you're not the only one who doesn't hate it, we'll let the Sens fans have their little moment before hockey has even been played and then the season will start and everything will be fine in leaf land the Sens will disappoint and DeBrincat demands a trade and so on and so on oh and Murray posts a .918 with 42 wins in 22/23

See it's the anywhere part that causes the problem. Gonna have to add sweeteners to both of those. Probably a 2nd or a 3rd. Dubas has nearly destroyed this team.

Ahh right I forgot about the mandatory Leafs tax where any player making more than league min needs a first round pick and a top prospect tied to them to be moved...

It's not a Leaf's only tax. Look no further than McDonaugh's return. You're asking a team to take on 5 mil in cap with those two players gonna need to sweeten the deal.

We got a goalie for free didnt have to pay anything and if he rebounds or at least posts above a 0.900sv thats a win

People forget this year for the sens in 20 games he had a 0.906 but funny enough if it wasnt for those last 2 games where he played hurt he has a 0.920 sv

No, you're not. We have his basically lifelong goalie coach, who actually turned him around in the SOO his last year, when Dubas hired Elkin. They can always trade in season for a goalie if needed, this team can make the playoffs regardless. I think Murray will excel here personally.

People just love to hate and be negative and act like complete jerks when it comes to this stuff. Their lives are full of a bunch of negativity, let them live and soak in their pathetic negative lives.

I love this and am remaining positive about it.

You're joking, right? McDonagh was literally sent off with zero "sweeteners". Tampa just sent him off. Did they get anything substantial back? No, but they didn't have to trade their entire future to rid themselves of an aging, expensive dman with a ton of term. Kerfoot and Holl both makes a reasonable amount with only 1 year of term left, with Kerfoot only be owed around 750k in real money this year

Could be because McDonaugh was actually useful for his team. This is a cap dump if the Leafs get rid of Muzzin. This is how it works. Do you actually think Tampa wanted to do that?

Kerfoot is a versatile winger who put up career numbers, plays the PK and the PP, and can play center.

Holl is a top 4 defenseman who only makes 2 mil, plays a monster amount of minutes, and is a PK specialist.

Tell me how either of these guys aren't useful for the Leafs. Leafs haters are so blinded by their bias it's actually amazing. I seriously can't tell if you're trolling or not

I think they’re very useful for the Leafs. I’m not the one trying to trade them. The value they have to TO is not the same they’ll have to the next team.
Look at last years trade of Tyler Johnson. A very useful player. Tampa had to include their 2nd round pick to make it happen. Does this make sense? It’s not a Leafs only thing
