both our teams are pretty close. I forgot about Lindgren - would have signed him instead and saved a little. I was thinking about Cuylle and leaned toward him starting in the AHL for a little extra experience - but that looks like a very solid Kid Line 2.0. I like that extra cap space for potential deadline deals,

No way the Rangers give up a 1st to get rid of Nemeth. He will either be buried in Hartford for the season or bought out, but that would be stupid when they can bury him for the year and have basically the same cap hit as a result. I could see Nemeth being moved with a 2nd and a 4th to dump him or maybe with a defensive prospect, but he won't be moved with a first rounder of that would have happened at the draft, plus they likely need the 1st to trade for a center or make a splash at the deadline.

Not sure I see Dylan Strome getting 4.2 plus the rumor is he may want to go to Edmonton to play with his buddy Connor.

Nemeth- either trade him with the 3rd, or with a distant prospect...otherwise just bury in Hartford where his cap hit is 1.125M. Carry Nil/Schneider/Jones as 5/6/7D. If either Nils or Jones shows to be better served in Hartford (doubt it) then carry Hajek as 7D.
Strome- that # seems about right...but I wouldn't be surprised to see several teams jump into the bidding to drive up the cost of a few guys who weren't qualified. The real interesting thing to see is going to be the effect these guys have on the # Copp, R. Strome, Malkin, and other UFA's demand. Does the market get flooded forcing their ask down??

Appreciate the feedback. As I said last last night, we are both thinking along the same lines.
